1:24 scale diecast cars may not be as common as the larger
1:18 scale cars or the smaller 1:64 scale (used by Hot Wheels and Matchbox) but
none the less there are some very beautiful diecast models done in 1:24 scale. These
models are usually within the 7-10 inch range depending on the size of the
actual vehicle it is modeled after. Many larger vehicles such as fire trucks and
limousines are done in 1:24 scale. Some people believe that the 1:24 scale is
not as detailed as 1:18, to that all we can say is take a look at our Franklin
Mint models which are all in 1:24 scale and are very highly detailed models.
