Diecast Cars of the 1960's

Although the word change has been used a lot recently the decade that truly exemplifies the word is the 1960’s. More change to the culture of the world happened in the 1960’s then in any decade in probably the last 100 years. And in the 1960's the automobile industry was changing with the times as well. Cars as the decade went on were becoming more streamline and also more powerful with the emergence of the muscle car which fit the fast changing period to a T. Also many of the modern features we take for granted today started to become more common place in the 1960’s, air conditioning, power brakes, steering and windows. Many smaller sporty cars made their debuts in the 60’s such as the Ford Mustang, Chevrolet Camaro and Pontiac Firebird. Gas was still cheap and we didn’t mind filling up those powerful guzzlers but the next decade would bring big changes to that routine.
