How do I order a car?

When you find a car you would like to buy simply click on the add to cart button and this car will be saved in your shopping basket. From there you can continue shopping by clicking the “continue shopping” button or when you are ready to make your purchase you can click on the checkout button in the shopping basket. This will bring you to a page which will show what you have picked in your basket. You will then need to fill out the ship to and bill to information needed for the purchase. The next step is to pick your method of shipping.  After that you can click on the update button to see what your total cost will be. Then all you need to do is fill in your method of payment and click the next button to finalize the order.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept VISA, MASTERCARD, DISCOVER CARD, and PAYPAL as payment options on our web site. We also accept money orders and cashiers checks. These checks need to be sent to the address on our "Contact Us" page. We do not accept personal checks at this time.

We use UPS Ground, 2nd Day and Next Day service.

How long does the shipping take?

It depends on the method that you chose but for most cases Ground service is used and for in stock items this usually will take 3-5 business days. If the item is not in stock allow for 1 to 2 weeks additional time, a notification will be sent to alert you, via email or a call (if email is not available) if additonal time is needed.

Do you have cars other than the classics?

Although we do not advertise modern cars if there is a model you are looking for we can do a special order for it if our supplier carries that particular car. We can email you the price and picture to see if you would like to proceed with the order.

Do you ship internationally?

Currently we only ship to Canada, Great Britain and Australia. At this time however we are only taking international payments through PayPal. Please contact us for shipping charges (we use the USPS for international shipments). The price converter is there to help you obtain a ball park figure on the cost of the cars. Due to the changing of the currency rate this amount may vary, please contact us for a more accurate quote if you are interested. The customer is responsible for taxes, customs duty fees and administration fees that may be imposed by your country.

How do I figure out the different scale sizes?

When shopping for diecast cars keep in mind that there are many different sizes to choose from. Sizes can vary from the smaller sized 1:64 scale up to the larger 1:12 scale. The most common scale sizes are 1:12, 1:18, 1:24, 1:32, 1:43 and 1:64. People often see these numbers but do not know exactly how they came to be. They actually stand for a fraction of the real size of the car they are modeled after. Basically put, a 1:18 car is 1/18 the size of the real car. For an example if the real car was 185 inches long a 1:18 scale car would be around 10.25 inches long. Generally speaking average sizes for the common scales are as follows…

1:12 - Around 15”

1:18 - Around 10” - 12"

1:24 - Around 7.5” - 10"

1:32 - Around 6”

1:43 - Around 4”

1:64 - Around 2.5” (Hot Wheel / Matchbox size)

Of course the sizes of the cars will vary depending on the actual car it is scaled after.
